I am the envy of many friends and family when I tell them what I do for a living. I work from my villa in Spain writing articles and building websites that make money day and night – in fact 24 hours a day they are operational.

So at times I might take a long lunch and combine it with a siesta – well I do live in Spain!

Yes it is a great business to be in but don’t think that I don’t work hard or do not deserve my success. This has taken years to achieve. If only I could go back in time I would do many things differently and by reading this article carefully you may avoid some of the mistakes I made along the way.

Working from home is not easy because you do not have a boss or colleagues. Although you may yearn for that yourself, when you are at home on your own it is easy to watch television for longer than you should or read the newspaper.

Without direction from a boss it is easy to lose focus and flounder and without colleagues you can get lonely and miss out on the social aspects of working in a big office.

I have found I have had to dig deep into my reserves of persistence to keep going in the belief that one day my Internet businesses would flourish and provide a full-time income. I know that many people would have given up long before me and they would think that it is not possible to make money online – they would think it was a myth.

To anyone who wants to work from home and follow in my footsteps I suggest buying a course or joining a monthly training course like I do and stick to it without being distracted.

There was a point where I was being emailed daily with new ideas and courses which made me feel like I was missing out if I did not buy them. Some were good but most were not.

In the end I almost lost my way and I decided I should stick with one method and block all other methods out until I was successful at the one I chose.

The one course I can totally recommend is the Niche Profit Classroom program, I am a member. In their free videos they tell you how they make money and what their methods are. When I saw the videos I knew these were sincere and honest people and so I joined the course and started to apply what they told me to do.

Making money on the Internet is not as mysterious as it may seem. It involves hard work and focusing on one method and strategy and not deviating from it until you succeed.
