My friend was complaining to me recently that they did not have enough cash on hand to live the life that they really wanted.  “I need to make money” is what it basically boiled down to.  I explained to him that I was making extra money online, but that it is a long, hard road.  Most people get initially excited when they see the possibilities with internet marketing, but then they get discouraged when they see how much work is involved.

So I told my friend that I would show him how to money online but that he was going to have to put in a lot of work over a long period of time before he would see any results.  Not too surprisingly, he lost interest shortly thereafter.

No one wants to put in the work.  It’s too hard.

Put the work in and you will see great results, just not overnight.  It takes time to build an online asset.  If you want passive income that continues to roll in over a long period of time, then this is how you want to do it.  Start by finding good keywords to write about that are not too competitive but still have some profit potential.  Next you need to publish articles on the internet that use these keywords in some fashion.  Finally you have to create links around the web that point at your articles so that the search engines will send you more traffic.  This is the whole game in a nutshell, and if you write informative articles that are actually useful, then you are building yourself a long term asset that could produce income for you over and over again for a very long time.

When you first start doing this, it will take months before you see any income.  That is why so many people drop out of the race and give up.
